Your t4 is low and that’s why your tsh is in the higher end of normal. I’m assuming that’s total t4?
If you could get your tsh closer to 2.0 or under, that could possibly increase your t4 and t3 if there are no other underlying problems. Do you have the ranges for your t4 and t3?
Thanks for your response! I didn’t have my labs in front of me at the moment but here they are with the ranges:
TSH 4.43 (.178-4.53)
THYROXINE Free FT4 1.16 (.80-1.73)
T3 Free 3.3 (2.0-4.7)
My doctor started me on 30 mg of Armour. Does this sound appropriate? I have had most hypothyroid symptoms for awhile.
