hi all please help. i am 10 days away from my next period ( always been like clockwork) 4 days ago my breasts became sore and yesterday i woke feeling like my period was going to start bloating and cramps (11 days early). on and off since yesterday i have had some light brown quite mucusy spotting but no actual period even though it feels like its coming. is this something that anyone else has experienced?

you dont say how old you are or if you have regular periods still or not however, my experience is exactly the same as you describe so try not to worry.
i really would recommend making a note of everything if this is the start of your meno journey as it really helps when u need go see a doctor or to simply reassure yourself. i know it sounds yukky but i sometimes take photos if necessary or if im really concerned as it does help the doc sometimes.

hi louise thanks for your kind reply. im just short of 50 and until this regular periods. it still hasnt developed into a full period but i think by tomorrow it will so i will be 7 days early xx
Yes. This is how it starts for me.. I’m usually about every 28 days-- the spotting starts here or there with the brown stuff. My breast are swollen and sore..And sometimes I experience awful cramps and then other months nothing. I have many other things that come along too–exhaustion, heavy flow, huge appetite then none at all, rage, doom and gloom, etc… I wrote it all down so I can verify each month if I need too. This way if I get questioned about my monthly cycle, I can tell them what has been going on.
