Irregular periods, groin and abdominal pain.

Hi ladies.  I am still getting my period every month however, it's mainly spotting, no normal or heavy blood flow.  Is this normal?  

Over the past few months I've been having groin and abdominal pain and they have since found a cyst on one of my ovaries.  I am panicking because someone told me that they were spotting and it turned out to be cancer.  Help!!!

Hi Faz 

Have you had a smear recently? Your symptoms could be down to cyst on your ovary but it could also be cervical problems that's why I asked about smear.

Hi Karen.  I had a smear about a month ago and it was normal.  They have recently found a cyst on my ovary but I am waiting to see a gynaecologist which could up to 40 days.
