I have irritated and itchy anus for several weeks, I have never had anal sex, what can it be?
irritated bottom can have many reason, if you have never had anal sex probably likely its not from a STD or STI or some kind. Sometimes if you have a poor diet or some sort of bowel trouble your anus can actually leak some kind of bottom mucus (very gross sounding haha) thats from inside your body and it can be very irritating on such a senstive area. Another reason could be the dreaded pinworms! i always suggest just speaking to your doctor about anything though
stop anything new food, you have started recently
get stool routine and stool occult from nearby pathology
It could be infection or it could be ingrown hairs. This can happen when you shave off hairs in the genital area. It could be infection.
