Are you experiencing awful peri symptoms on the rectal area?
For example, itching, burning sensation, dysphoria feeling, rarely deep instant pain
You might want to rule out a few things like hemmroid or pinworms, very common especially if your around kids.
When you say dysphoria, is it in terms of this condition or separate?

Check out LICHEN SCLEROSIS. It causes intense itching and for some, burning. I was diagnosed with it some years ago.
Evi - I get intense itching and burning (don't recall inner pain). The itching and burning seems to come and go; like I might have it for 2-5 days and won't have it for another 2 -4 months - then it shows up again; same thing intense itching burning and then this last time I had a very dry feeling for the first time in that area - but that also cleared up after 2 days.

Yes, it is not constant in my case too. I am experiencing it at certain times of my cycle or it is more intense with seasonal changes.
Oh my God what the hell is happening to my body due to hormones.
