Is anyone going through same as me

I am not even sure if this is what I have but these are my symptoms

continuous outbreaks of rashes and hives with everything i eat this is the closest thing i found that describe what could be my problem ive come to a point where i don't want to eat anymore i've lost 30 pds doctors can't help

My hives and rashes are mostly at night starting around seven pm seems like axiety lays a role in this to but not sure is anyone having similar issues

I agree with @lorraine34338!!!

I did the sme thing - they said I was anorexic and gave me an anti depressant. Needless to say it didn't work! I am currently on an autoimmune protocol diet and it's really helping. I've begun to think these hives can outsmart everything so I don't have 100% faith but for now it's AWESOME. boring but I'd rather not itch and feel panic every day. I also take zyrtech and zantac.

I just started that abot 8 days ago and its not helping and im also on probiotic from naturopath i did the blood test and im sensitive to wheat dairy and sugar and ive stopped all that and not helping now yesterday i started taking enzymes and im breaking out in hives again nothing works i dont know what to do anymore its been almost 3 yrs for me

How did you guys find it was that?  Is there any test or you just know

Yes you are lucky i'm not getting much help but i'm pretty sure this is my problem seems to fit well with my symptoms.  Don't think this will get better though until i'm no longer working because stress makes it worse and i'm always stressed at work that is a bummer because i can't afford not to work.

guss I have to keep plugging at it and hopefuly one day it will disspear.

are you healthy other then rashes and itching?  Because I seem to be other then that.

Do you work and does it interfere with your job ?

How long has it been for you and is the rash and hives all over your body or only certain spots

My specialist put me on cyclosporine which is an immune suppressant plus antihistamines, this worked for me and my hives went into remission.  If I get very stressed I still get a small outbreak but they go away quickly with the antihistamines. I was on cyclosporine for six months with a slow taper off it. Most of the time I am hive free.

Wow your so lucky i wish the doctors would help me maybe some day i will find something that works.  So it does have to do with the immune system then.

Thank you for sharing

I really think so and it can be caused by more than one trigger, mine was two viruses I had, plus the gut issue plus changes to my estrogen levels, plus stress. Also having hives gives a person more stress so it can be self perpetuating unless something blocks the process like the drugs I was prescribed.

I saw today that vit d3 can help so i got some i shall see the trigger for me was stress and im sure hormones has to do with it to

I was tested. I have Graves, which is an autoimmune disease that attacks the thyroid, and even though that is controlled the test for autoimmune still is positive and very high. I have not tried cyclosprine yet but if this diet doesn't help i will for sure! I hope you find relief. Eliminating foods can take up to 90 days before you see results, BTW, and since you've had this for so long it probably will take that long for you. Best of luck !

Hi Rose, I suffer from urticaria(hives)too and doctor thinks it might be stress related. Put me on Sertraline and because they made me worse(one of the side affects was hives)he wanted to put me on Citalopram.   I weaned myself off the Sertraline and did not take the Citalopram because of side effects I already had.  My skin was feeling leather-like in places and the redness/rash always starts up ;late afternoon.  I found out that some fruits are high in histamine and I was eating a lot of bananas, nectarines, strawberries, plums, nuts and seeds.  These are all high! I now just have my natural yoghurt with blueberries, kiwi, white grapes(not red grapes)as these are all lower in histamine.  Now I do not itch so much but in bed my breasts sting and I have been waking every hour this past week. My skin now is peeling. I started rubbing in twice, sometimes three times a day, coconut oil(bought in jars from supermarkets)now the itch has gone from my elbows, underarms, sides and thighs and breasts.  When out during the day I have never been affected......I dread the central heating coming back on! I spent a fortune on creams and also emollients the doctor prescribed as creams tend to feed hives.  Nothing worked.  Dr has arranged blood tests so hopefully I will know exactly what I do have.  Hives come in many forms, small goosebump rash, red blotches, road map like patches but the peeling is confusing me now.  Cut out red meat too as this is high in histamine, also coffee, alcohol. I eat chicken breasts, white rice and peas, cod steaks in sauce with baked potate and peas and natural yoghurt with fruit.......hope this helps Rose.

Rose chocolate is another thing high in histamine and Lorraine is correct in that is does have to do with the immune system.   Mine all started when under a lot of stress and I have always had panic attacks on and off.

Hi Lorraine, does cyclosporine have side affects?   I was taking antihistamine tabs from the chemist,to no avail.   The tabs for my anxiety brought back my IBS and also made my hives worse so i came off them and now,at the moment, watching what foods I eat(keeping away from ones high in histamine)and using coconut oil as some of my skin felt leathery-like and stinging as well as itching.  My hives started off through stress and anxiety and I am waiting to have therapy as I do not want any more tabs for that.

Yes it does help just to know there are people going through the same thing my skin doesnt peel though and ive been on low histamine diet for a long time its been three yrs ive pretty much tried everything but someday ill know in going to see a specialist nov 7th i praythst it helps hope you get answers to sounds very painful

Hi, I see your post from 7 months ago. I hope you are better now. If not have you been checked for parasites in the gut? I have been dealing with Urticaria for 9 months before I found the cause. Two rounds of antibiotics cleared everything up for me. They found a tiny microscopic parasite Blastocystis Hominis.

I'm doing much better they finally diagnosed me wit chronic idiopathic urticaria and i've had 3 rounds of zolair so far and its 90 percent better I am very happy i'm hoping once i'm finished my shots of zolair it wont come back because i don't know what i'll do.

Thanks for asking i hope your doing good
