Is Cushing's Hereditary

Hi I am a Cushings patient and have been told that Cushings is NOT hereditary. I have been trying to see if I can find any link between us as to how and why we get this illness but no luck so far. Take care and let us now if we can help at all.

Although there is no scientific evidence that cushings is hereditary (other then MEN2 which is) there are documented cases where mother/daughter, grandmother/grandchild have had it.
