Is glucosamine sufficient for knee pain?

What we take in case of knee problem?

It never worked for me,but I was bone-on-bone so it really wouldn't.

As a last resort I did the stem cell......nothing so I had no choice except replacement.

Did you meant stem cell did not help you?

Mo the only thing that ever worked for me was Advil. I did take glucosamine but I don't think it did anything. I had a tkr 7 weeks ago and it wasn't fun for 4 weeks I seemed to have turned a corner and the pain I had before is gone! (The recovery is tough tho)

No, it's more for middle of the road arthritis where you are just starting to have symptoms.  You could ask about synvisc, an injection that replaces the cushion you lost with bone on bone.  It lasted me a year.  Not every insurance will cover it though.  The cheaper alternative is Euflexxa and it only lasted 3 months.  Then I had TKR.
