I have a lump in my stomach that flares up when I have either something fatty or spicy to eat, it is in the right side of my colon, it never completely disappears but does settle down when my diet is better, my blood tests and ultrasound came back clear so go said he thought it was ibs, do people agree?

Keep doing your diet. My test came back clear too, but I can't eat greasy food, no wheat, I can tolerate some fruits. My only option now is eating healthy.
I had lazy gallbladder, it was removed last June, I would feel a horrible pain, in my right side, after eating something greasy, it would last some minutes.

Hmm, I don't know about that I have ibs but no lump not that I can physically feel any way! I'd ask for a second opinion, that sounds wrong to me!
I have no lump but during a flare up I do hurt on y right side did you go to a GI doc
I do not have lump in my stomach but do have ibs diverticulosis and if i eat fatty food i will react the next day when i have a BM very runny and have to go several times a day. Given the fact you had a blood test and an unltra sound and all was clear maybe you have a small hernia . But not being a medical person maybe you should go back and get a second opinion. If it was me i would want to know what the lump was. Best wishes Sue.
