Hi there, Everything started last friday night. I had pain in the stomach (stomach cramps) and extremely strong flatulences... So Smelly... Then, the next day night i had fever (38,1 C°) and diarrhea. I went to the doc and he gave me antidiarrheal and painkillers cause he think it's a Gastroenteritis. But three days laters, i don't have fever anymore but diarrhea is still there... Stomach cramps too... (and i'm still taking the antidiarrheal, eating rice and drinking a lot.) Is it normal for a Gastroenteritis to last so long? Thank you guys for the help !
you think 1 week is long? I know someone who had Gastritis for 2 years..
Anyway, if it doesn’t go away within like 3 - 4 weeks… Get a Endoscopy done so you can be properly diagnosed.
