Is it safe to use a TENS machine post op

I have 3 pins in each foot following surgery nearly 4 months ago, is it safe to use a TENS machine on my feet?

On feet yes but with pins in place unsure so would need to ask your GP

Thanks for your reply.  I will ask my GP when I see him next. I'm still healing and don't want to make the pain worse

That is unlikely. My worry would be that as it works by electrical impulse and metal coducts and stores electricity, internal burns could be possible. Not sure how likely as such a low frequency which is why I say GP, that or Physiotherapist if you have one.
