I have been struggling to have penetrative sex for a long time. My boyfriend convinced me that it was vaginismus and a psychological issue, but now I am concerned that I have a hymen related issue. Do I still have a hymen, and if so does it look like a normal hymen?
It looks that you still have an intact hymen. Did it hurt just a little or really unbearable during the penetration?
Well what’s weird is that sometimes it hurts like a burning kind of sensation but other times it goes in perfectly fine with no discomfort. Day to day the struggle is more like it’s too tight to get it in, which is why I was swayed by the vaginismus argument
Do you have a feeling that your vagina muscles uncontrollably squeeze when you insert your own 2-3 lubricated fingers, or is it just too narrow without any muscle contractions?
