My brother has been taking ARVs from 2015. He found out 4 days ago through XRAY that he had TB and was given the treatment. The problem is he was already too thin that the bones were showing and he had just finished Pneumonia treatment now the bones are covered by skin. After taking TB treatment he has gone from bad to worse. He was admitted to hospital for 4 nights and was not given his ARVs for 3 of those nights. He struggles to breathe and hes always out of energy. He cant even feed himself. He cant even get out of bed. He also has difficulty speaking because hes too weak. My question is... When is it too late to start the TB treatment? And how does one know when HIV has turned into AIDS? Is TB curable when one has AIDS?
