I have been diagosed for nearly a year with HSV 2.
It's a routine STD test and I had never experienced any outbreak.
Recently , I found that my vulva easily get irritated related to my menstruation. It gets itchy, redness and I feel pain when the urine passed and contacted the area where the pad contact my skin. But there's no visible blister or bumps.
I thought it's was allergy so I changed the brand of sanitary pad. It gets better and usually subsided when my period finished.
However, this week I had a weird sensation down my inner vulva when my period finished . It only feels slight sharp pain when urine passed that area. I checked with hand mirror, no sores or blister, just slightly swollen. I am pain free when I walk or run, I got no fever or sore throats like most ppl do when they have their first OB. Will that be a mild OB or I just have some wound in my vulva?!

Some questions.. What type were you diagnosed with? Was it the imM or the igG blood test?
I can't be of too much help but if you're comfortable answering those q's maybe it could assist with someone else who's more experienced in this situation reply. Maybe they could be more internal as well?? (idk)
I think your best bet would be to go and talk to a health professional either way to discuss your concerns. Hopefully you get more warrant reply/s as well! Take care and all the best

I got much better after taking ibuprofen and applied Vaseline on the irritated area (to avoid the direct contact of urine).
I was tested the IgG and diagnosed with HSV2 last July. It was my partner who had OB first then I went to check. Most likely I transmitted to him.
It's frustrating coz I don't know what happened. No visible or obvious sore/blisters, just slightly swollen. And I am afraid it will come on and off again each month after my period
