Is there any financial help out there after surgery

Hi

Its nearly time for my surgery after waiting 6 mths.i have 2 dermoid cysts along with my left ovary being removed.i was just wondering if anyone knew of any financial support out there while being of work as i will only receive stat sick pay..

Its been along scary wait for my op..now that its nearly here i am panicing how will i manage with very little income whilst being off work..feeling stressed..

Im in the same boat been off since oct 16 to now. My surgerys sunday , dermoid n last ovary removal. You in uk?

If you are employed on ssp you can also apply for ESA benifit, no garranty to get it but its what ive been advised to do by CAB n ssp helpline.

Hi, I dont no what sort off job you have, but if you work in the care industry there is a one off payment you can apply for just to help you out until you get something sorted.x
