Hi,
I have never had sex. I’m 19 years old. this blister looking thing appeared 3 days ago on the shaft of my penis and it started progressing day after day and I have no idea if this is normal or not what should I do please help me I’ve been really nervous in the last few days.

if u have never had sex or oral sex the chances are it aint herpes its more than likley an infected hair folicle or something benign like that it does look like theres some pus in there just under the surface of the lump

Hi. it doesn’t hurt on its own but it’s sensitive. If I touch it carelessly I feel pain. I haven’t had any kind of sexual intercourses though I do masturbate usually.

Is it something that I can cure myself in home or should I visit a doctor or does it go away by itself?

it just looks like u need to soak and squeeze it looks like a spot

Warm compress and try gently express the content.
Apply some antibacterial cream or antiseptic cream to the area and keep it clean and dry.
Looks like a little cyst or boil.

Have you ever received oral?

HSV can be transmitted by someone who has oral HSV to the genitals via oral sex, even if theres no visible outbreak on their end.

If yes, then your best bet is going to be doctors ASAP for a swab and request an IGM type blood test.
If both are negative (swabs decrease in reliability after the 48 hour mark, and IGM has a high false negative rate), then your next step will be to go in 4 months and request an IGG type blood test. This is the most accurate, but only after the body has built enough antibodies to test positive, usually reliable after the 4 month mark.

If you’ve never received oral, then its unlikely its HSV.
You should still definitely visit a doctor to rule out anything else and get the best care advice. But definitely insist on the testing i mentioned above (even if they try to brush it off, as many do), if youve had any kind of sexual contact, including receiving oral or even just rubbing skin on skin with someone else (HSV is transmitted through skin contact, so not passing fluids is involved).
