Is this a side effect to herpes?

Since I was "diagnosed" with type 2 herpes, I noticed that my urine was still extremely yellow and foamy despite drinking nothing but water. I went to the obgyn yesterday for a follow up on my problem and she said there was blood and excessive protein.. has this happened to anyone while going through their initial OB? 

I'm going to my regular doctors tomorrow for a urinalysis..

I am also in hsv 2, also with a high protein, urine yellow color is normal. just wait for the result of your urinalysis.
