Is this a stress fracture?

It all started with knee pain from too much effort but then my calves and shins started to hurt as well. The knee pain and shin pain were barely there, but yesterday after a long day at work (I work at McDonald’s), my leg started to hurt (the interior part of the shin bone if it makes sense) and I would get pain when jumping (when going up) in my whole lower leg). I woke up today and it doesn’t hurt when I jump but I have pain when I press here

I’m off two weeks from work so that probably won’t be enough if it’s a stress fracture. My appointment with my doctor is on the 10th. Should I phone again to try to reschedule? I’m really scared I won’t be able to go back to work and struggle with money. I’m also meant to start uni in September. Will I be able to go if I’ll have to wear a walking boot? I have to do some walking to get to uni. It doesn’t hurt much right now. I just have some dull pain in my calf and shin.

I’m a female, 22, 5’1, 100 lbs and don’t play any sports

I have no clue how to upload pictures here as I don’t see any picture upload icon.

Hi Marie if you have had x-ray and that's what you are trying to upload then surely your radiologist has looked at it and told you if it's a fracture or not.

If you want quick results go to the er they have cray equipment there your doctor will have to refer you to a specialist ,that will take some time .for stress fractures if Ben told they usually but you in an air cast boot so that you can hay some mobility.

You should be able to call your doctor's office and tell them that you would be able to come to an earlier appointment.  Ask them to call you if they have a cancellation or a no show and because you are off work for 2 weeks and  you would come right over.  Good luck.
