Is this an STD??

I thought I had a yeast infection due to the itchy and burning feeling I was encountering. The white discharge makes me believe that I do in fact have a yeast infection, but while checking myself out I did notice these bumps. Could this be HPV, something else, or nothing at all? Thank you in advance

Would you mind taking a clearer picture with more light and preferably also a bit closer to the area in question (3-4")?

Most modern smartphones can focus down to 3" for macro photography.

Hi jane,

Thanks for the photos. Are you referring to some lumps on either side? They could simply be vestibular papillomas.

I suggest you treat yourself for thrush in the first instance and then take a closer look at the bumps, referring to this excellent document as your guide.

This looks to be a yeast infection. Extremely similar to the way my vagina looked when I came down with a severe yeast.

Thanks everyone for the replies!! Got myself checked out and was diagnosed with severe yeast infection & it was probably made worse by the over the counter product I tried. Set up with medicine and all good now!
