Hi everyone, I think the skin of my penis is getting dark. I wanted to see if it is anything related to HPV or other STI? There is no bump. just discoloration. I had 6-7 times sex in 2019 and all of them was protected.

Hi Ryan, it’s possible to be penile melanosis. It is usually a benign or harmless condition. It’s characterized by small patches of dark skin on the penis. This change in color is known as hyperpigmentation, and it occurs when melanin (brown pigment) forms deposits in the surface layer of skin.
To my knowledge, no std cause that kind of symptom. I see no urgency to see a doctor but I suggest you bring it up at your next check up to confirm the diagnosis.
