Before I begin, let me state that I am not looking for a diagnosis online, my doctor has not confimed anything yet and wants me to take meds (Doxofylline 650 mg) for a week and then check, however I am getting anxious.
I visited my doctor after a post workout breathlessness and disorientation episode.Heart issues were ruled out however during street test for heart, I faced breathlessness, hence the doctor wanted a spirometry to be done too.

I dont cough at all but when I take deep breath, I get a dull pain in the middle of the chest and yes I was a smoker but its been couple of months that I have quit and after 25- 30 minutes of exercise, I get breathless and feel slight dizzyness.
hiya i can tell you what im like, never cough gave up smoking nearly 3 years ago although i have had heart attacks in 2015. but only 5 wks ago was told early stages of copd at the moment i cant do a lot get chest pain very breathless. couldnt go for a walk. hope this helps you a little bit lots of love and best wishes and please go for a chat with your doc if you dont fully understand. love julie
Let us first say that as far as I know, nobody on this site is medically qualified to give you the answers you are asking.
You really need these results to be seen by a professional. A doctor or a Lung specialist. There are other tests and MRI scans that could give a clearer picture of your lungs.
SO wait until these figures and further test have been carried out. There are other things that can give similar results.
COPD seem to be being used to cover a multitude of chest and lung complaints as well as Emphysema.
I hope the results are good news for you, but remember, most of us on these forums do suffer with these disease's, BUT we are still here !
Whatever the cause of your breathlessness you do need to find pit the cause (or your doctor should refer you to a specialist if he cannot determine the cause) in order to get the correct treatment.

But at a glance purely on what you have mentioned above, it looks like generally you do better when not using the inhaler. We none of us are medical professionals here and guesswork is no substitute for a professional diagnosis.
