Ive had dull upper right quadrant pain for a week now. Tonight though, about an hour after eating I feel really nauseous, like I could throw up any minute. Im thinking gallstones cause about a fortnight ago I had pain after eating a chippy tea. It lasted about an hour or so, quite sharp, but since then its been a dull pain. The dull pain i have now seems to be worse when I sit upright (like when driving the car).. Anyone else experience this?
Hi what the heck is a Chippy Tea? Anyway if it high fat that sounds like perfect Gall Bladder issue. I would have thought sitting up right would be good its when you slouch on sofas and so forth, not being funny another way of stopping the pain or ache is to hold your arms up for a while, see if that helps. But at least you know whatever you ate does not agree with you. You say this is only after a week and you have had no problems before?
Do you eat Bacon, or Cheese or anything high in fat, and do you drink milk, if you do and your Ok then it could be something else like your Liver. You also better start noting your stool when going to the toilet as these will also give you indications to whats happening. Its the one thing you can say about the Gall Bladder, you really get to know your body very well. There is a possibility you may have caught this years bug or a tummy bug?
So you need to be very mindful about eating and your toilet habit changes, along with feeling sick. I can only wish well for now.
