Is this Gastritis?

Hi Everyone

I am really fed up. I started getting stomach pain about 8 weeks ago and find it hurts after food or when hungry. I am also getting back ache (it feels like a sore spine!). I started first with URQ pain but it has now moved to the middle between my ribs.

I have been referred for a gastroscopy but with Covid i still havent been given an appointment yet despite chasing it. In the meantime i am take Omeprazole 20mg twice a day. I have been doing so for a week now.

Some days my symptoms are minimal and I even think yes this is working and its gone, but then the next day all the symptoms are back again!!

Has anyone else had this?

I would appreciate your help.

I’ve been dealing with upper abdominal discomfort in the centre and RUQ for about four months now. GP diagnosed me with gastritis and put me on pantoprazole 40mg but it doesn’t seem to help.
Sometimes I end up thinking if it’s all in my head lol

You need to try taking in less acidic drinks.
