About ten days ago someone who often gets cold sores went down on me. They then told me 2 days later that they began feeling the tingling feeling that goes along with cold sore coming on. I freaked out and went to PP to get testing for HSV but did not offer it to me and said it wasn’t likely I would get anything due to lack of open sore. About 6 days after the initial contact I still had no symptoms. I then however shaved for the first time in a while with a new razor and bought/wore new underwear without washing. A day or so after I noticed telltale signs of a yeast infection. itching in the vaginal opening and vulva. Thick white cheese discharge with no odor. The following day I noticed what looks like a rash on the crease where my ass meets my thigh. At first it was only left side but now appeara to be on both. no pain, no fever, no usual symptoms of herpes. Just what seemed to be a yeast infection and rash. I went to Urgent Care and the man initially said it looked like herpes based on photos but when he took a look he immediately said it was foliculitis and sent me home with a yeast infection med. Help!?
