so i recently had a lot of unprotected sex with my girlfriend and i started to feel slight discomfort followed by redness around a couple of areas near the shaft of my penis. I originally thought it was cause from friction due to sex and the fact that i had hair growth in the areas. I saw a whitehead yesterday and squeezed out a little white puss, and now the area is a little irritated. IS THIS HERPES OR SIMPLY SOME INGROWN HAIRS OR PIMPLES DUE TO FRICTION AND SWEAT???
i shaved over the area yesterday, and also have one similar bump on the other side of the shaft, which makes it seem like it was due to sex pulling on the hairs that was there
It looks like folliculitis, bit of infection in the hair follicles probably due to shaving.
It doesn’t resemble herpes don’t worry.
A bit of antiseptic cream should clear it in a few days.
