Here's my story: I have always had cold sores since I was a kid, so I know that I have oral HSV-1, but now I am worried that I have genital HSV-1. I recently had unprotected sex with a girl who thinks that I gave her herpes. About 5 days after we slept together she had a genital herpes outbreak. The swab test came back positive as HSV-1. I did not have my mouth anywhere near her genitals. On top of that, I have never passed on anything to anyone in the past. I have never had any kind if genital outbreak in my life. Then about 12 days after I slept with her I get a strange rash around the corona of my penis. I am worried that she gave me the herpes that she thought I gave her. It is a mild discomfort and there is a short lingering discomfort after I urinate. There also looks to be some discoloration on the glands. Does this look like herpes or could it be something else?
