Is this heart attack symptoms or anxiety??

Hello everyone. So about 4 months ago I went to the doctor because I was having chest pain and aches in my arms. They've diagnosed me with anxiety and did all the checks for a heart attack and everything came back fine. But I've been having a aching pain in my left arm constantly. It is constantly there and it's so uncomfortable and I'm not sleeping because of it. Can anyone give me any advice or help??

So your doctor said your heart is fine. Sounds like you need to work on the anxiety. All anxiety begins in the brain so you need to calm down the brain first.

it's when the brain is anxious that the symptoms occur.

What really helps me is listening to audio meditations for anxiety, depression, sleep etc. found on YouTube.

if you're trying to sleep, search you tube for guided meditation for sleep. I like to use earbuds which gives a better effect.

there are many to choose from for anxiety. Just search guided meditation for anxiety or stress.

anything that calms  you down such as take a walk in nature, socialize,.

Another thing that help me a lot was speaking with a counselor. Sometimes we don't even know what  is making us anxious and they can help us figure that out. It helps to talk to someone else in person and get some help.

keep in mind that any symptoms related to anxiety cannot hurt you. They can be scary and weird but that is all they can do. So it's up to you to be the one in control! Don't let fear and anxiety overcome you. You have the power To control it.

if you can, get a book called mindfulness it teaches all of this and it's definitely worth reading. It's a white covered book with what looks like a ball of tangled string on the front. Hope you feel better!

In addition, anxiety can have hundreds of symptoms  that mimic other conditions so If you've had a good physical by your doctor and everything comes out ok,  then focus on managing the anxiety.  I've been able to reduce my symptoms by 95% by listening to the meditations, staying active, doing things I enjoy,   Eating healthy, treating myself well, not taking life too seriously and remembering to smile and laugh!
