Is this herpes? Freaking out!!

So I have been having some irritation on my labia and started getting small bumps that weren’t really raised, but today all of a sudden it turned into a full on raised bump. It is super tender to the touch and gets worse when my clothes rub against it. I do shave down there so I was thinking its maybe related to that, but it has been maybe almost a week since I shaved now. I also had a similiar issue almost a month ago but never got a large raised bump just small ones.

I have been with the same partner for 7 years now so the only way it would be herpes is if it was dormant in my system all this time or if my partner cheated on me. I have been tested for all other stds and they were negative. Someone help me out here

Hi, I doubt it’s herpes. It doesn’t look like it and it’s unlikely with your history

It can be sebaceous cysts. They have a tendency to come back and get inflamed with friction. Unfortunately, there not too many options. The best is to let it be but doctors get have them removed if it get too annoying. Sitz bath and warm compress can help you drain them.
