I had protected sex with a girl that is confirmed to be carrying genital herpes HSV 2. I was only told during the act. we used a condom and didn’t do oral but we kissed alot and used our hands, my penis also rubbed against here vagina during spooning.
Since contact I developed a mouth ulcer, itchy legs, and burning urination. 4 days in I developed this red mark on the tip of my penis, this red mark is still here on day 10, I feel like it a pinprick spot appears on the red mark but its hard to pick up on photos.

doctors told me not to worry and that it probably isn’t herpes, 2 doctors said this but I don’t believe either of them. the red mark is sore and burns after urination but thats it. no massive outbreak yet.
doctor would not swab the red mark as they said it looks like dry skin or balanitis, but they did swab the mouth ulcer i had so I am waiting for these results. I also just did a urine sample so will see if that can pick up the genital side of this.
all of this i completely regret, I can’t believe I wasn’t told before we started sex, I feel like my whole has changed forever and i can’t sleep or focus on anything, falling way behind at work.
