I noticed a little tenderness in an area and it looked like a little pimple. I tried to pop it and put peroxide on it and the next day it was worse and looked like this. I'm so scared I have herpes. I made a doctors appointment, but have to wait a couple of days.

That is why its looks so raw, you have probably burnt the skin in the process…unless you have other accompanying symptoms, I doubt its herpes (only because of the peroxide), ofcourse get checked out…but tell the Dr what you did, I am sure he/she will say you have burnt your skin…
I used peroxide because it thought it was safe to use to clean what I thought was a pimple out. Then it looked awful the next day after that..I do have one other symptom which is a swollen lymph node in the groin. With the pimple looking thing and swollen lymph node i have a suspicion is it herpes which breaks my heart. And when I brought it up the my boyfriend, he shrugged it off and said it was possible I did catch something from him. Like wtf…

The swollen groin node is a little concerning - is it still like that today?
