About a week ago, a part of the ridge (bottom part of my penis head) developed a red slightly inflamed irritation. It has not gone away. Today, I noticed small red bumps and some small scabs on the right side of my penis head and one on my penis shaft. (They were not present before today.) It does not hurt when I urinate and it does not itch, although it does hurt when it rubs against my boxers and there is certainly a noticeable discomfort at all times. I looked up pictures of herpes, and although it does not seem to match, I am still concerned. I have been with the same partner now for a little over a year with no symptoms ever before.
