I started having neck pain and swollen lymph nodes in my neck. Then a fever and sore throat. A week later I noticed some tingling in my vagina and there was what looked just like a white head that wasn't painful but tender on the inside of my labia. The next day it was totally gone and there is no redness or signs that it was even there. I never had any pain in that area. I still have some on and off tingling down there. Do herpes lesions always break open? Do they only last a day like mine did?
Fires not sound like herpes. Too quick to heal and vanish, and the swollen lymph nodes should have been near the infection in your groin, not neck.
I second everything Felis said. If it wasn't red, came to a head like a whitehead, not a pus-y surface looking lesion, instead of pus under skin (pimple), doesn't sound like herpes. If a herpes sore has pus under skin, it looks distinctively like a blister not pimple like.
Best way to know for sure would be to make an appointment with your doctor. When you do make sure to go prepared with questions.
