Is this herpes or am I going crazy

Hello, I shaved and then had sex one time the first half with a condom the second without and then had sex again with a condom, I then thought I gad a yeast infection and I went and got monistat, on my second day of monistat, I experienced ALL the flu like symptoms, then it was gone the next day and I noticed these bumps, I went to the hospital becuase they hurted and I seriously wanted to be tested, and he said they do and dont look like herpes, my sister said they do, I went to urgent care today and got tested, I thought they could mean anything else but herpes, someone help me

Hope they did a swab, not a blood test (or not only). It does look suspiciously like herpes, I'm afraid, but I would wait till the results come back. Good luck!

If you had the bumps/blisters at the time, they really ought to have done a swab test and that's a pity they didn't. The IgG blood test for herpes is no good if tested too soon after a new infection, as you won't have developed antibodies yet. The IgM blood test for herpes is unreliable, inaccurate and not advised by the CDC. If you still have the bumps/blisters, you can try to get them swabbed asap, but the culture test loses accuracy over time (pcr swab is better, but may not be readily available).

I have them now, my sister said the test would be accurate since I have them and the virus is I guess alive right now

But the blood tests only look for antibodies and antibodies take time to form. The IgG antibody test for herpes is only good from 2 months, ideally 3 months, while the IgM antibody test for herpes is flawed to the point that the US Centre for Disease Control does not recommend it. The swab test is always the best and most direct option when lesions are present, because the lesions do contain virus and the swab tests look for virus or viral proof, not antibodies. Just fyi.
