I thought I was developing a yeast infection, but when I looked into a mirror, my vagina had one cluster of weird bumps with blood behind them on my labia minora on both sides. It feels dry and itchy and there is a lump behind both clusters of bumps. First pic is from this evening, second from this morning. it seems to have scabbed over maybe?
What do yall think?
Hi, Did the Dr test them or just visually assessed the area ? I would have them tested and maybe even perform a biopsy. It is very concerning as they are very dark and almost blackish, could be the blood but either way they need to be tested and evaluated properly. What other symptoms have occurred before or after this appeared ?
The doctor visually assessed and prescribed herpes medication just in case. He was not convinced it is herpes though. The only symptoms I have are slight discomfort, and the area under is hard?
Schedule an apt to have them tested and for a second opinion. I have seen many cases of herpes but nothing like this. Was there any trauma to your vagina leading up this or scratched it ? Did these occur after sex or out of nowhere ?
I have not had sex in months due to quitting birth control. I do still engage in oral and whatnot, just not penetrative. It just came out of nowhere. It is weird that it is on the inner labia in the same spot on both sides. Today i noticed that the spots are forming inside of my vagina. I have never seen anything like this nor can I find a picture of it anywhere..
yes that is weird on both sides at the same area. However i think i do see an area which looks darkish inside your vagina as well. towards the left on of your pics ? Can you you check if it is actually another area as well ? I would go to the doctor and have them run some test to make sure its not cancerous !
yes today another spot popped up. today is day 3 of having these. I never responded when you mentioned they look dark a few comments ago. It is hard to tell on the pics but it is definitely blood. The doc that did the visual said it was blood
