my sexual partner and i noticed strange, slightly painful bumps around our genitals about 4 days ago. they have almost all faded. there is no pain while peeing, slightly sore to the touch. they drained when compressed with a warm cloth and scabbed over. i am worried it is herpes simplex because it is possible. all the sores have been with hair follicles. please help!!!

i went to a walk in and i was told they were ingrown hairs but i am not convinced, i have to get blood taken in case. i am going to my doctor on monday, i am not experiencing any flu symptoms but i have a feel they are not ingrown hairs.
