Two years ago I had these bumps occur a day or so after I had sex with someone (unprotected). I thought it was herpes so I went to planned parenthood but the doctor told me it was molluscum. She looked at photos I took as well as looking at my vagina. From what I can remember, she didnt do a test. Theyve reappeared maybe 2 times since then, this being the second. Its always this amount and in this spot (I think?) They rarely occur so its difficult to remember. I noticed the bumps first. They were there for only a day and then turned into the yellow/white scab/crust. The next day the scab was gone and it was the red photo. The red turned to the scab again, less intense scab this time, and then the crust/scab fell off. The red appeared once more and then it was gone. Each of these occurances happened day by day. I believe the red was gone by Sunday/Monday (today is Wednesday and this began last Thursday, a week from tomorrow.)
It doesnt hurt, only if I apply a lot of pressure. There was a slight amount of itching but only when it was in the scab/crust form.
I have an appointment tomorrow to figure out whats going on, but since theyre already gone I’m worried I’m going to get a false diagnosis.
