hello, so i got these bumps about a week ago and they are kind of hard and are more under my skin. they look very red because ive been picking at them, but they do itch or have puss/liquid. is this herpes?

i would say no to herpes, this virus can spread to parts of the body but mainly mucous membranes such as the mouth and genitals. Herpes whitlow is uncommon but can happen. But these bumps do not look like herpes usually does. have you checked around the house to see if you have any unwelcome visitors?
i checked for bed bugs and nothing lol, i did go camping the weekend before i got the bumps. could somethinf have bitten me and caused the bumps?
Yes something outside definitely could have gotten to you. These look more like bug bites rather than herpes. Herpes usually clusters and is rarely found on skin outside if the mouth and genital areas
