Ok this is a long story. I got swabbed for HSV a year ago and it was negative. Turned out to just be an abrasion from rough sex and it healed. Broke up with that guy. Since then, I have been with one guy, E, for a year. I also dated another guy, R, simultaneously for two months in the summer. No protection used.
Now, 2 weeks ago my vagina was really itchy one night. I have recurring BV so just figured it was that. I take boric acid suppositories for that pretty regularly so took one and the itching went away within a couple days. Then this Monday I felt sharp pain like glass in my vagina and had itching again. I took a look and there are a couple blisters right outside the opening so that explained the pain. Since then I’ve had a lot of pain and itching. Saw the OBGYN today and she said I have BV and she swabbed the lesions and said they look “suspicious” so now I have to wait and hear back if it is herpes. Does this look like herpes? Could it be something else? And would a blood test tell me if I just got it recently from E or if I got it from R in the summer? I have never had these symptoms so I have to assume it is my first outbreak. Does this look like herpes??? I am going insane with anxiety. Please help. Thank you
