Is this herpes? Please help!!

A few days ago I had unprotected sex with my partner, whom I’ve been with for 10years and we have 3 children together. The next day I started getting pimple type things on my vagina. At this stage I was/am suffering from vaginal thrush too(common for me) currently treating. I now have these on my vagina. Are these Herpes? I’ve never slept with anyone else other then him. They were first itchy but now are extremely painful and it stings badly when I pee! I cannot get into the doctor until Friday :persevering_face: I also had a Brazilian wax on Friday last week

Were they blisters that popped?? Has your partner had sex with anyone else before you? It could also be HSV1

They started as pimple like things, which now I presume they have popped.. he says I was his first and that he’s never slept with anyone else..

Did they leak fluid? In that case, I would see a doctor and have them swabbed at an urgent care. Swabs are accurate within the first 48 hours, or else you’d have to wait a few months to get an accurate blood test. Has your partner ever had a cold sore on his lips?

they look like herpes lesions but so do so many other things. Definitely visit the doctor and if your significant other is not lying then maybe he has it and doesnt know. Some people are born with it.

I’m not sure if they leak fluid to be honest… I’ve never noticed him to have a cold sore before.. I can only get into the doctor on Friday afternoon :persevering_face:

Am definitely visiting the doc on Friday, it’s extremely painful but also quite itchy… Is there a way to know you’re born with it? Can it take this long to be transferred to me? 10 years?

If you were born with herpes you would’ve had several other issue by now. Its possible that you could’ve gotten it along time ago and its just showing. Its also possible that its not herpes at all. Good luck

This is the first issue and we are both mid 20’s. Thank you. I have my fingers crossed it’s not.

kinda looks like vulva ulcers, maybe trauma from the waxing? they are very painful and cause other symptoms like fever swollen lymph glands discharge.
