i had itching a few days ago and took the pill for a yeast infection and it went away within a day or 2, so i assumed it was just that. i havent had any itching the past few day, but randomly just noticed this sore out of nowhere?! see photo attached. it doesnt itch, just kind of hurts when it rubs up against anything since its an open sore. could it be herpes? or i was thinking i cut myself shaving but i shaved yesterday and just noticed this 10 mins ago so not sure how i wouldnt have noticed already. also i have tested positive for genital hsv type 1 so more just wondering if i need to treat this as an outbreak or no. 
if it was me, yes i would treat it as one. especially since you said you have tested + for hsv1. i also have hsv1 & i take valacyclovir daily, aftwr my one and only outbreak, and the PAIN and then the ITCHING, omgggg, ill do anything to either prevent an outbreak OR at least help it not be AS bad as the first
Please i need to ask, did you discuss the side effects of taking valacyclovir daily with your Doctor? I want to but am afraid it causes neutropenia (loss of neutrophils).
