Hi Everyone, I have been dating a girl for 1 month now, and we have protected sex, but 4 weeks in the relationship I had this rash on my inner left thigh? I’m a bit confused if this is Herpes or just a rash, it is a bit itchy but nothing crazy or painful I’m confused because they don’t hurt when I touch them just

Also, I want to mention that I don’t have any symptoms like flu or fever as I read on the internet. I will make sure to get checked though

Hi, it feels more like a bad case of folliculitis. It can be caused either by yeast or bacteria. The peeling skin is more a sign of fungus. If it had been herpes, it would have hurt like hell. Keep the skin clean with gentle unperfumed soap and apply jock itch ointment. Ask your pharmacist for advice. Wear loose underwear, wash your towels and bed sheets (in case there’s fungus) and it should resolves.
