Had this singular bump pop up a few days ago after running. I shaved yesterday and it made the bump red and pop out more - before that it was flatter and not red. Worried that this is herpes. Besides the bump, I don’t have any other symptoms. No itching or burning. It is just there. What is this?
looks like ingrown hair or razor bump
these are very common flare ups from shaving - you can get them anywhere that shaving occurs - it will heal itself, dont try squeezing, they generally feel like hardish nodules
update: It started bleeding a bit after my shower today and using my shower loofah. Could it still be from shaving or something else? I’ve never had a razor bump bleed before
Hello! I have the exact same bump which appeared after getting into running during lockdown – 6 weeks down the line and mine got a little larger… very odd. Ive just made a post myself to see of somebody can help with diagnosis such a pain not being able to do face to face contact with doctors in these times
