About a week ago, I noticed a fluid filled bump need my panty line. When prompted me to get it checked out. Once the DR pop it and determined an ingrown hair in there, there were other smaller lesions noticed on my perineum. She told me it looked normal and there was no reason for a herpes test. When I seen it I got totally freaked out, went to Planned Parenthood and they said it looked like HSV2. They immediate cultured the area and gave me medication for Herpes. Could it really be herpes?
There are about six small open sores, one of which was the ingrown hair. The area burns when I urine, and it does not itch nor tingle.
Could it be anything else?

I was in exactly the same position a few weeks ago, went to my usual doctor who said it looked like herpes, have me tablets and old me to go to my local sexual health clinic for cultures and more tests. I'm still waiting for my results but given all the symptoms I've had and sounds like you've had and if the tablets work then it's more that likely herpes. Not an ideal situation I know! Ask for some numbing cream which helps tons when you pee and stops all burning. The itching they talk about is before you have an outbreak a second or third time, like an indicator that it's gonna come back in a few days. They should give you a supply of tablets for further outbreaks. Hope this helps 
You'd better go to see another doctor and have a test.
A third opinion would probably be a good idea. When i started getting my symptoms the same thing happened to me , my blisters were just where i had shaved and even though i was given the herpes medication i convinced myself that it was really bad ingrown hairs.
Sadly though it was herpes and i never got itching or tingling just agony when pee touched them , and general soreness. That is probably not what you want to hear but just try to not convince yourself that it isn't herpes because there's a chance it could be. Keep your chin up and just wait and see what your results say.xx
