Is this Herpes?

I have suffered from Psoriasis on the head of my penis for many years, and it only occasionally flares up. I use Aveeno which seems to keep it under bay. I have also had non-specific urethritis before I became sexually active, which the doctor can not find a reason for. For this reason, the head of my penis is usually quite red. However, in the past few days I had what I thought was a flare up of Psoriasis, but this has seemed to have calmed down, but I am left with these tiny white spots on the top of my penis. They have been slightly itchy, but not really small, and haven’t changed in appearance yet. I have booked into my doctor, but can’t see him for a week.  Could this be Herpes? Or could it be another issue? I will obviously confirm with my doctor, but I am worried.

Hi,

Did you have sex with multiple person during this period? If not you should not worry about it too much.

Assuming you got herpes. Consider yourselft to be lucky. Herpes is the least serious STD a person can have. It will have outbreaks but the outbreak will reduce in quantity and severity. Meaning your later outbreak will much more mild than the first one. Given that you have any later outbreaks at all.

So be blessed if you have herpes, the serious bugs to have is HPV and HIV. HPV likely cause cancer when you are old.
