Please please can someone tell me whether this is herpes or not? I have it on my hands and on my vagina. It’s driving me insane! It’s itchy and my vagina is a bit painful. I am on suppressive treatment 400mg accivior but just been put on valtrex? Any friendly ideas welcome! Many thanks

You should not have HERPES 2 on your hands - only in your vagina!

You might want to see a Dermatologist.

Also, you have to take ACYCLOVIR or VALTREX every day for the rest of your life because there is no medical cure.  Take that pill every day so you can keep the virus suppressed!!!

Every HERPES patient takes "suppressive" medication.  It is a life long process as there is no cure!!!

Actually this is not true in real life. Most of herpes patients dont take suppressive therapy. I just ask about your experience. What dose you take ? Since when? How you deal with your partner in sex?
