I had unprotected sex last weekend, it was very rough and caused a tear near my urethra. I also have a small sore next to the tear. I noticed the sore Wednesday. I’m seeing an OBGYN Monday to get it checked. Not sure if it was caused by shaving, the rough sex, or if it is an STI. Its making me really anxious, and I wanted to get people’s opinions before I see the doctor. Should I tell people I have had sexual contact with about this? Pics:

wow the swelling is alarming. did you get checked…? what did the doctor say..?
yea the pain and swelling is pretty bad. obgyn took a swab test and will let me know which type it is by wednesday. but when she took a look at it she was sure what im dealing with is hsv.
So sorry your in pain , have you found something to sooth the pain/swelling ?
My doctor prescribed me valtrex antiviral pills and licoden jelly to numb the pain . Its working well so far. Still waiting on the swab test results to know the hsv type
Still hoping its something else, happy theres some relief . I read epson baths are helpful too . Here if you need someone to talk to , just message me . Let us know what happens .
