This spot has been here for 8 days with no change or pain. Could it possibly be herpes? I was exposed to it about a month ago.
Or maybe contact dermatitis?

It can be or could anything else really. the only sure way to know is a test. was your exposure unprotected? first outbreaks last for about 2 weeks or a little over.
Yes unprotected… but she didn’t know she had it.
so she does have genital herpes? did she test?
Yes she did. It was positive 
ok now you must test to see if you contracted it. hopefully you didn’t. one time encounters don’t always lead to transmission. go get a swab.
Yes I know I need to. But do you think it looks like herpes or am I just over worrying?
doesn’t look like a typical herpes outbreak. if this were to be a your first outbreak I would think more pain and itching and more cluster type lesions. b
