Could be folliculitis from shaving but there looks to be some tiny blisters!
Get a blood test done to confirm! Genital herpes can show up anywhere on the boxer short area!
Hi there. I really believe it is folliculitis and I think you’re going tobe OK. Herpes generally does not like the pubic area as the skin is too thick for transmission although not impossible if there is a break in the skin. I have read where Dr Handsfield, Dr Hook and Terri Warren have stated that 90 to 96 percent of the primary herpes outbreaks will present on the shaft or penis. Recurrent infections can occur in the boxer short area but will most likely recur in the same approximate area as the initial outbreak. Herpes is highly variable so that is not a hard fast rule but a general rule of thumb
Also, herpe lesions tends to change rapidly as it goes from bump to blister to ulcer to scab with total healing time is 10 to 14 days to 4 weeks. It sounds like yours started healing to quick and did not have ulcers so that is a good clue against herpes as a possibility.
You may want to try an antibacterial ointment and wash the area thouroughly a couple time daily with an mild soap. I suspect it will help clear this up for you. Try to relax. I really believe you will be fine. Stay safe Stay smart and use condoms.
