Is this herpes?

it use to be a little bit more noticable but now its going away. its not spreading, no itching, no pain. i had sex with an older woman, i was 18 she was 31. she told me she has herpes but only had one outbreak. she has not had an outbreak in 11 years after the first one. i know herpes is most contagious during an outbreak and 7 days before and after. its been almost 2 years and i havent gotten anything. i know its possible to pass it on when its dormant. i read that there was a 10% chance she was shedding the virus. she has had many long term boyfriends and all of them had unprotected sex with her and did not catch it. one of them went on and got married and had kids. this has been on my penis for about 2 weeks give or take a couple days. it seems to calm down when i shower, but when i get aroused it seems to be more noticable. ill include pics. is this herpes? pls respond!

can be Genital lichen.. looking like it if you also have problem with very dry skinn on penis

thank you for replying ill look into it!

Only way to be certain there is no Herpes involved is to get tested for it.
The main problem your skin has is due to exposure to soap and things like shower gel. Most body cleansers are detergent based over time the sensitive skin at the tip of the penis simply cannot cope with this, particularly in circumcised males as the natural source of lubrication and protection was lost when the foreskin was removed.
Only use water to wash your penis with, when you take a shower spend some time using the running water to rinse any body cleansers away that have gotten onto your penis.
Get yourself some liquid coconut oil or SHEA butter and apply a light coat after you have dried yourself after taking a shower - every other day to start with, then 2 or 4 times a week …

thank you very much for responding i will certainly do that!

Thanks for replying, the ending text I typo’d was meant to be:
every other day to start with, then 2 or three times a week

its not herpes its skin related like fungal or bacterial
