only painful to touch, no bleeding or oozing or itching and remained looking like that. appeared right after period ended and went away in 3ish days!! used tampons again after using pads for a while so could it be a thrush type thing or what?! help please!! going to doctor next week but its weighing heavy on my mind!!
It is best to wait for your appointment but remember that many people who are herpes positive do not have the classic symptoms of herpes but mild symptoms. You will only know for sure through a swap or through an IGG blood test for HSV1 and 2 if you want yo be sure. However if you were infected recently it might not show that soon in your blood test results.
Also some women who are herpes positive mostly experience Herpes outbreak during their periods but what you have might not be herpes though.
